Into Film's resources range from film discussion guides, to curriculum linked worksheets, lesson plans and presentations. This immersive, exciting and varied resource will take young people on a quest to become Chopstick Warriors by teaching them about the history and handling of chopsticks. They will teach others and perform a range of challenges to perfect the art of the chopstick, then battle other competitors in school, culminating in The Rice Challenge, with the intention of being crowned Chopstick Master. Teachers are provided with a fun downloadable ‘Chopstick Challenge' resource pack that includes how to create and run a Chopstick League within their school. This is an easy to use end of term resource designed to bring the school community together with an engaging and challenging project to help celebrate the end of the school year. The DVD is on general release from July 11th 2016. This resource was created by the Industry Trust and Into Film and is designed to help teach staying safe online across the 7 to 14 age range. The resource will develop learners' awareness and knowledge of malware and the associated dangers it has. It will also highlight the impact that content piracy and viruses have on the creative industries. This resource will: • Develop learners' understanding of malware and the harm it can cause • Demonstrate the cyber safety problems associated with pirate websites and viruses • Help learners develop an understanding about the impact of content piracy on the creative industries • Teach the importance of respecting copyright and the value of creative content The resource is based on an adapted version of the short information film, Meet the Malwares provided by Creative Content Australia, a not-for-profitorganization committed to raising awareness of the value of screen content and copyright and the impact of Piracy, and their accompanying education resource. This resource can be used and adapted to meet the needs of the learners and comprises of an accompanying Staying Safe Online: Meet the Malwares PowerPoint presentation including embedded clips, activity sheets and a handy glossary of the key terms to use in your classroom or club sessions. In view of the Turner Prize being held in Glasgow in 2015, this resource has been created to help students explore art in film and filmmaking as art. It celebrates the Turner Prize by encouraging young people to explore contemporary artists, offering stimulus for young people’s creation of art using film, animation and video installations.
